Day Fifteen
Maybe you're one of my faithful blog readers, maybe you read some of my posts and you are trying to do some of the challenges, or maybe you have just happened upon this. If you do nothing else, DO THIS ONE!
I had no idea how much I needed this experience, until I did it myself. It was just over seven months ago when I accepted the challenge and WOW! My experience was phenomenal! IT WAS LIFE CHANGING!
For today's writing assignment, I would like you to write a letter to yourself. This will require 5-10 minutes of hopefully uninterrupted time. Put on some nice soft writing music, grab your journal, a notepad or piece of paper, and something to write with. Today we are going to write a forgiveness letter.
Address the letter:
Dear (Your Name) ,
I forgive you for......
And then write everything you can think of. Write all of the things that you need to forgive yourself for, write all of the things that you should forgive yourself for, write all of the things that you want to forgive yourself for, just write, write, write!
Then, sign your letter.
From/Love/Sincerely,
(Your Name)

This is such a great idea! I find that when I fail, my kids and husband forgive me, Heavenly Father forgives me, but I can't forgive myself. This would be wonderful to do frequently! :) Thanks for sharing!
This was difficult, but so refreshing! It took me a while to start but when I did it just flowed out! A great book about this is called Forgiving Ourselves. If you haven't read it I def. suggest it!
Thank you for sharing! I love hearing about your experiences ladies!
Meradith, I just began reading Forgiving Ourselves. It has been sitting on my bookshelf for years. I am so excited to see what it has in-store for me! I'm sure it will be great.
