I just had to post a few recent pics of my two favorite kids!

Despite being sick, I went on a coupon adventure with the two little ones. Crazy, maybe stupid, but it was totally worth it!

Rite Aid shop: worth $67.32, paid $4.68

AND received $4 in UP rewards for next time.

(2) Clairol Natural Instinct hair dye ($9.49 retail) clearanced for $4.24, actually rang up for $2.37 a piece. I use a $5.00 off 2 boxes coupon = .26 cent moneymaker!

Pampers diapers on clearance $6.49 ($12.99 retail) - $1.50 coupon and received $2 UP reward like paying $2.99 a package.

Huggies Sensitive wipes clearanced 75% off regularly $8.49, rang up for $2.12.

I used a .50 coupon and paid $1.77 including tax! INSANE :)

Slim Fast multipack ($7.29 retail) clearanced to $1.82.

I used a $1.00 off one mulitpack coupon = .82 cents for the whole box.

And then I bought two boxes of 24 ct. moist towelettes. ($3.29 retail) clearanced to .82 cents a box.

I used a $10 UP reward from buying diapers last week and spent a total of $4.68! And I have (2) $2 UP rewards to use next time. 

I love Target coupons! 

Up & Up baby body wash $1.49, I used a $1.00 off Up & Up target baby coupon = $0.49 cents each!

Up & Up hand soap $0.99 - $0.50 Target coupon = $0.49 each. 

Coopertone sunscreen sticks $4.99 each, buy two and receive a $5.00 Target gift card. I used two $1.00 off printable coupons that do not restrict size. Paid $7.98 - $5 gift card = $2.98 or $1.49 each!

Memorial Day 2012

Memorial Day Weekend- Flaming Gorge, Swim Beach.

I was planning on leaving Thursday until my dad called on Wednesday and said they wanted to leave in the next couple hours. Kevin helped me get the car packed up and we left on a little adventure. It was a 3 hour drive, a drive we have made several times but geez what a long drive! Kaylee fell asleep just before we got there, arriving at midnight. Landen was such a good baby. We stopped for gas and I fed him. Uncle Braden rode with us, it was nice to have someone to talk to to keep me awake and check on the little kiddos.



Day 1: Thursday.

Dressed and ready to play in the sand.

She just loves my little brother Tyler. She makes him do everything with her.

Kaylee had so much fun playing outside.

All snuggled up to go out in the boat. It was pretty windy and cold but she really wanted to go with Papa.

Day 2: Friday.

We got a break from the wind and I was able to play with Kaylee while Landen took a nap in the trailer.

I made a little lake for her by making trips back and forth from the water to the trailer.

We were able to make some sand castles with the wet sand.

We were warned about a high wind warning and spent the remaining of the trip inside. Kaylee was standing to close to the trailer door as it slammed on her thumb. :( If you look close you can see her bandage. We decided to snuggle up and watch a movie. Thank goodness for generators!

Day 3: Saturday.

Playing games...

Thank goodness for sunglasses! They came in handy to keep the blowing sand out of her eyes when we did go outside.

Kevin came up Friday night after work. I never thought I would miss him so much! What a cute little Landen :) He mostly slept and ate. He hated the wind and dry air. But... Landen started to sleep through the night, probably the white noise.

Kevin played Monopoly most of the trip. He had a lot of fun playing with my cousins.

Day 4: Sunday

Kaylee had her first hot dog we made over the camp fire. We got rained on and had to eat inside.

We had ribs, and dutch oven cobbler. Yum!

Last day: Monday, Papa took her on a ride just before we left.

Then daddy took her for a ride. She loved it!

I love my husband, I love that he stops at so many stores during the day. He set aside a bunch of stuff at Walgreens for me and I was able to go back that night and do some couponing! I was able to get all the things I wanted because it was the day of their shipment and use a Friends and Family coupon valid for one day only. The coupon took 15% off of name brand items and 20% off Walgreens brand items.

$2 off of 2 Playtex cups (Walgreens store coupon) and I used a $1 off one playtex item coupon for each one. It made them about $2 each.

Received $4RR = .60 moneymaker for each bottle.

Nice bags of candy on sale for .49 cents, .39 with 20% coupon. (Filler items)

I started with $6 in RRs and rolled them all through. I did 5 transactions with totals of $4.25, $4.25, $1.94, $1.94, and $1.60

I exchanged two boxes of Kotex tampons that were still part of a $3RR and the cashier gave it to me. I ended up paying a total of $13.98 out of pocket and have $11 in RRs to use next time!

Landen's Blessing

Sunday, May 6th 2012, we blessed our sweet baby Landen. It was such a perfect day, I couldn't ask for a better day. Landen was 10 weeks old.

I planned to be early so we could take a few photos.

Afterwards we went to our house and ate sandwhiches, salads, chips, and fruit. Lots of cookies and ice cream for dessert! Really good food and great company!
